In conjunction with the Main Awards, you can earn color coded supplemental patches by completing eight “field” related activities on a 15-mile section of one of the original seven Battalion routes. Each is made of “Scout” twill cloth with colored edging and name stitching to match trail segment lines on the main patch. Iowa Mormon Trail Segment Patch (February-June 1846) – This two-color embroidered ¾” high x 5” wide patch will have dark green colored edging and black outlined dark green colored lettering on tan cloth. Please allow 2-3 weeks shipping time. Must submit completed Trails Award Application Form to receive patch and certificate.
